“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:2-3

God, the eternal and self-existent One, is the ultimate source and sustainer of all things. He alone is worthy our highest reverence and worship. As human beings, we are instructed not to prioritize or worship any other object above God. Anything that diminishes our love for God or impedes our devotion to Him becomes an idol in our lives.

Let us guard our hearts and ensure that nothing takes precedence over our love and service to God. May we recognize the true worth of Jehovah and offer Him the respect and worship He rightfully deserves.
